I was looking through the database from my old site because of an email I got as I detailed in the previous post and got interersted in what was in there and how to get it on this site.   Using some excel skills I tweaked the various tables and got a condensed sheet of all the old posts, all 6832 of them… Yes, that’s a lot, it was years of posting and some of them were just links to quiz results (back when it was a fade) and links with minor context.  What I did realize though is that if I were to import it wholesale, the vasat majority of links would be lost to time.  I tried some of them at random and all of them resulted in ‘not found’ errors.  I guess at some point quizalla become TeenNick?  :shrug:

So now I have to figure out a way to narrow down what is viable and worthwhile to save against what will be basically broken if I tried to import it.  No reason to bring over broken links.  I wonder if I could figure out a way to bot all the links and test them?  Whatevere solution I come up with just means more time until they get imported.
