{"id":128,"date":"2017-04-28T10:19:23","date_gmt":"2017-04-28T15:19:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localecho.com\/?p=128"},"modified":"2017-04-28T10:19:23","modified_gmt":"2017-04-28T15:19:23","slug":"the-growing-crack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/localecho.com\/index.php\/2017\/04\/28\/the-growing-crack\/","title":{"rendered":"The growing crack."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was down in Virginia Beach this week for MODSIM to exhibit for work and it was a decent show. \u00a0Everything was going well and I was &#8220;driving safely&#8221; home when a truck decided that he needed to swerve in front of me to exit from left lane and kicked up a nice rock into the windshield. \u00a0As I was driving a university vehicle, I gave them a call and alerted them, but it was a nervewracking drive as the crack was of decent size and was growing slowly as I drove. \u00a0I tried to think if there was anything to do to stop or slow it, but wasn&#8217;t sure what was best. Open window to equalize pressure on both sides?
