As part of the constant quest to always be changing things for the sake of changing them, I had to fill out a new form for my conference trip.  Apparently driving to VA Beach is about 450 miles round trip and now you need a waiver if you are driving more than 300 miles. Okay.  One of the questions threw me for a loop though. I’m paraphrasing it, “What will you do to mitigate risk for long distance travel?”  I answered, “I’ll drive safely.”  I guess there are some legitimate answers to that question, but it seems so ridiculous to ask. I did get approved so I guess I did okay.
